Tenex is a minimally invasive treatment for chronic tendon pain, such as long-standing Achilles tendonitis or plantar fasciitis, that has not settled with conservative care.
How it works
Using ultrasonic energy through a small opening, Tenex breaks up and removes damaged and scar tissue while leaving healthy tissue intact. It is done in-office, often under local anesthesia, with no stitches.
Recovery
Downtime is minimal for many patients, with a return to normal activity relatively quickly compared with traditional surgery.
