Dr. Tinisha Ricks
Dr. Ricks is a board-certified fellowship-trained podiatric surgeon committed to delivering top-tier foot and ankle care. Originally from New Jersey, she received a Bachelor’s in Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology at Ramapo College followed by a Doctorate at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Ricks completed her three-year post-graduate residency with added credentials in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery at Good Samaritan University Hospital in Long Island, NY, where she served as chief resident. During her training she honed her knowledge of foot and ankle disorders which included: elective surgery, trauma, reconstruction, wound care, and minimally invasive procedures. She also competed the Bako Podiatric Dermatopathology Mini-Fellowship.
To enhance her expertise, Dr. Ricks completed a Foot and Ankle Sports Medicine fellowship at Virginia Mason Franciscan Health, which focused on the surgical and non-surgical treatment of sports-related injuries, and assisted the team physicians for the Seattle Seahawks (NFL), Seattle Kraken (NHL), and the Seattle Sounders (MLS).
Whether treating common foot ailments or helping athletes maintain their peak performance, Dr. Ricks is dedicated to offering personalized care tailored to each patient’s unique needs, ensuring optimal outcomes and a better quality of life.
In her spare time Dr. Ricks enjoys spending time family and friends, traveling, and painting. She also enjoys basketball, tennis, and yoga.
